Lithuanian Art Museum and JSC “Ispado“ invites you to the opened exhibition “Fashion of the Victorian Era 1830-1900” from the collection of Alexander Vasilyev at the Radvila Palace (Vilniaus St. 22, Vilnius)For the first time in Lithuania at the exhibition “Fashion of the Victorian Era 1830-1900” viewers will be able to see rare men and women costumes from Victorian tenure period (1837-1901). At the exhibition will be presented wide range of costumes, which were created from romantic to modern era and more than 100 accessories – fans, umbrellas, hats, jewelry, handbags, jackets, corsets, eyeglasses and many other clothing accessories, which are now forgotten. Maximized antique photos from 1855-1900 period of the private Alexander Vasilyev collections gives illustrative background to the exhibition, wash-drawings and oil-colours, nineteenth century French portraits, perfectly reflecting the fashion trends of that era, also adorn the atmosphere of this exhibition. Before coming to Vilnius, the exhibition “Fashion of the Victorian Era 1830-1900″ was held in Paris, London, Brussels, Istanbul, Moscow, Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Santiago, Riga.More photos from this exhibition:
