Lithuanian Art Museum and JSC “Ispado“ invites you to the opened exhibition “Fashion of the Victorian Era 1830-1900” from the collection of Alexander Vasilyev at the Radvila Palace (Vilniaus St. 22, Vilnius)For the first time in Lithuania at the exhibition “Fashion of the Victorian Era 1830-1900” viewers will be able to see rare men and women costumes from Victorian tenure period (1837-1901). At the exhibition will be presented wide range of costumes, which were created from romantic to modern era and more than 100 accessories – fans, umbrellas, hats, jewelry, handbags, jackets, corsets, eyeglasses and many other clothing accessories, which are now forgotten. Maximized antique photos from 1855-1900 period of the private Alexander Vasilyev collections gives illustrative background to the exhibition, wash-drawings and oil-colours, nineteenth century French portraits, perfectly reflecting the fashion trends of that era, also adorn the atmosphere of this exhibition.
